Christine & John | Engagement Session Monmouth Racetrack; Oceanport, NJ   Tell us a little about yourselves! John is a family law attorney, and Christine is finishing her Master’s degree in counseling before (hopefully) going onto doctoral studies in Psychology.  We will be Mr. and Mrs.Paone in September 2017. How did you meet? We are an online success story!  Back in 2014, John was working at the Attorney General’s office, while Christine traveled the country as a campus recruiter.  Conventional methods of dating just weren’t fitting into our hectic schedules. We are proof, though, that the perfect date might live just a few miles away—but you may need to use technology to find them! How did he propose? John arranged a beautiful evening in Spring Lake, with a scenic walk and romantic dinner (with blue moscato). What is something you are looking forward to your new future together? We are always learning from one another, and we’re excited to continue introducing each other to new pastimes.  John plans to teach Christine to golf, and Christine is eager to take her groom to more ballroom dance lessons and wine tastings.  Sharing in each other’s passions has helped add some laughter to our […]

Alyson & Mike | Engagement Session Manasquan Reservoir; Manasquan, NJ   Do you have a favorite activity together? One of our favorite activities to do locally is to take our little pup Casper on a bike ride around the neighborhood. We bring him to the park and let him run around, playing catch with him, and just enjoying the outdoors together – all 3 of us. 🙂 What is something you are looking forward to your new future together? We’re really excited as to where the future will take us. We have big plans for this lifetime and I’m really hoping all those dreams come true, including starting a family. Even if they don’t, I know I get to spend it with the love of my life which is pretty incredible. When did you know that they were the one?  We were really lucky in knowing we had found the one on our very first date – something just clicked, it just felt right, like this was the way it was supposed to be. In fact, we used those exact words that night. A lot of people thought I was a little crazy when I would tell them, “I found my […]

Alyssa & Peter | Wedding Day Grand Marquis; Old Bridge, NJ How did you meet? It all began July, 3 2012 when Peter arrived on what he thought would be a one on one date with a pretty blonde but when he arrived he was surprised to see Alyssa with a group of friends.  Alyssa knew after that night that there was something about Peter that she didn’t want to let go. He was a gentleman to say the least, he was polite, friendly, eager to get know Alyssa and her friends, and kept by her side the whole night. He walked her to her car and that’s where they had their first kiss. They both didn’t want the night to end so when they both got home, they stayed on the phone with one another until they both began to fall asleep and said goodnight.  Now, let us back up a couple of days or should we say years on how Alyssa & Peter met and how that first date became about. They both grew up in Marlboro, NJ with about a 5 minute commute to one another’s houses.  Peter graduated Marlboro High School with Alyssa’s Brother Jay, They both […]

Alyson & Christopher | Engagement Session Asbury Park, NJ Tell us a little about yourselves! Chris and I met when we were in the 8th grade. We attended Immaculata High School in Somerville, NJ together and dated up until our Senior year. We were then on and off in college beginning our Sophomore year as we were in different states. After we graduated, we had gone our separate ways for a few years. In the meantime Chris had lived in the city as an accountant and then decided to become a police officer in Hillsborough. I was living in Hoboken with my girlfriends from college and working for Bed Bath & Beyond Corporate office. Fast forward to about 2 and a half years ago, we both had houses at the shore and saw each other at the Osprey. Just around 2 years ago we made it official again, and the rest is history! It’s true what they say, nothing compares to your first love. We decided to get married down the shore where our story began over again.   Do you have a favorite activity together? We love to go to country concerts. I can’t even count how many we’ve been […]

Louise & Jarrell | Engagement Session St. Stan’s Carnival in Sayerville, NJ How did we meet? In 2006 we both attended Katherine Gibbs school but for different majors. We ended up having one class together called career development. We NEVER talked, just exchanged smiles when passing each other in the halls. I found him on MYSPACE!!! And requested him as a friend. I used to drive a red Mitsubishi Eclipse that I had crashed a few years prior to meeting, but notice he drove a black one at the time. So, I used that to start a conversation. Some corny pick up line.. “I see you drive an Eclipse, I used to have the same one”… It WORKED! We started talking and he was HOOKED!! Lol. How did he propose? As tradition my family and I went to our annual Breakfast with Santa at the Jumping Brook Country Club in Colts Neck, NJ. The year before I sat on Santa’s lap and told him what I wanted for Christmas.. a beautiful engagement ring!! So, on December 6, 2015 a year later Santa called me over, sat me down and asked if I ever got that special gift? My response was […]

Katelyn & Nick | Engagement Session Monmouth Battlefield Park in Manalapan, NJ     How did you meet?  We met in 8th grade when we were 13. We sat next to each other in math class. We became best friends and dated throughout high school and college.   How did he propose? It was a Wednesday, one of the hottest days in August. We both had the day off and since we work so much and rarely get a day off together we decided to go into the city to have dinner and walk around. I was actually really against it, being so hot and that I am always in the city for work but he convinced me by making reservations for dinner somewhere and not telling me where. When we got to the city his directions for the restaurant location led us to central park. Neither of had actually ever been to central park before, believe it or not, so on one of the hottest days in August we walked around central park and got lost. Sweated my makeup off. We couldn’t find the restaurant and ended up on the complete opposite side of the park. To cool off […]
