Kristen & Hayden | Wedding Day McLoone’s Pier House; Long Branch, NJ How did you meet? Hayden is from Massachusetts, and Kristen is from right here in Marlboro, NJ. We met at the University of New Haven, when Kristen was a freshman, and Hayden was a sophomore, Freshman Orientation Leader.  We started dating in October of that year, graduated together in 2014, and the rest is history! Do you have a favorite activity together? We have a dog, named Stella, so anything that involves her makes us happy.  We also love sports. We’re  pretty avid Boston Bruins fans, we watch professional football like it’s a religion, and love trying new restaurants together. What is something you are looking forward to your new future together? The last three years of our relationship have been long distance, especially with Hayden on a nine-month deployment while we were planning our wedding, and now we can finally be together! That’s probably what we look forward […]

Hilary & Adam | Engagement Session Central Park; New York, NY How did you meet? Hilary and Adam met through mutual friends. Adam lived in Baltimore at the time and Hilary was in NYC.  She was invited down to celebrate New Years with her friend and that’s where she met Adam.  Even though they were over 3 hours apart, Adam made his way to New York and the two had an amazing time together, with Hilary taking them to Central Park, a comedy club, and some unforgettable restaurants and bars. The next thing you know, Hilary is making her way down to Baltimore to visit Adam. The long distance relationship had officially begun, and the rest from there is history. The trips and adventures became more frequent and eventually Adam made the big move to live on the Upper West Side in NYC with Hilary. Their two lives seamlessly began to merge into one and their love grew to another level. How did he propose? On March 18th, 2017, Hilary was completely surprised when Adam took her to Sala One Nine, the same restaurant they had gone to on their very first date. It was on this night that Adam proposed to […]

Alyson & Mike | Engagement Session Manasquan Reservoir; Manasquan, NJ   Do you have a favorite activity together? One of our favorite activities to do locally is to take our little pup Casper on a bike ride around the neighborhood. We bring him to the park and let him run around, playing catch with him, and just enjoying the outdoors together – all 3 of us. 🙂 What is something you are looking forward to your new future together? We’re really excited as to where the future will take us. We have big plans for this lifetime and I’m really hoping all those dreams come true, including starting a family. Even if they don’t, I know I get to spend it with the love of my life which is pretty incredible. When did you know that they were the one?  We were really lucky in knowing we had found the one on our very first date – something just clicked, it just felt right, like this was the way it was supposed to be. In fact, we used those exact words that night. A lot of people thought I was a little crazy when I would tell them, “I found my […]

Alyson & Christopher | Engagement Session Asbury Park, NJ Tell us a little about yourselves! Chris and I met when we were in the 8th grade. We attended Immaculata High School in Somerville, NJ together and dated up until our Senior year. We were then on and off in college beginning our Sophomore year as we were in different states. After we graduated, we had gone our separate ways for a few years. In the meantime Chris had lived in the city as an accountant and then decided to become a police officer in Hillsborough. I was living in Hoboken with my girlfriends from college and working for Bed Bath & Beyond Corporate office. Fast forward to about 2 and a half years ago, we both had houses at the shore and saw each other at the Osprey. Just around 2 years ago we made it official again, and the rest is history! It’s true what they say, nothing compares to your first love. We decided to get married down the shore where our story began over again.   Do you have a favorite activity together? We love to go to country concerts. I can’t even count how many we’ve been […]

Louise & Jarrell | Engagement Session St. Stan’s Carnival in Sayerville, NJ How did we meet? In 2006 we both attended Katherine Gibbs school but for different majors. We ended up having one class together called career development. We NEVER talked, just exchanged smiles when passing each other in the halls. I found him on MYSPACE!!! And requested him as a friend. I used to drive a red Mitsubishi Eclipse that I had crashed a few years prior to meeting, but notice he drove a black one at the time. So, I used that to start a conversation. Some corny pick up line.. “I see you drive an Eclipse, I used to have the same one”… It WORKED! We started talking and he was HOOKED!! Lol. How did he propose? As tradition my family and I went to our annual Breakfast with Santa at the Jumping Brook Country Club in Colts Neck, NJ. The year before I sat on Santa’s lap and told him what I wanted for Christmas.. a beautiful engagement ring!! So, on December 6, 2015 a year later Santa called me over, sat me down and asked if I ever got that special gift? My response was […]

Katelyn & Nick | Engagement Session Monmouth Battlefield Park in Manalapan, NJ     How did you meet?  We met in 8th grade when we were 13. We sat next to each other in math class. We became best friends and dated throughout high school and college.   How did he propose? It was a Wednesday, one of the hottest days in August. We both had the day off and since we work so much and rarely get a day off together we decided to go into the city to have dinner and walk around. I was actually really against it, being so hot and that I am always in the city for work but he convinced me by making reservations for dinner somewhere and not telling me where. When we got to the city his directions for the restaurant location led us to central park. Neither of had actually ever been to central park before, believe it or not, so on one of the hottest days in August we walked around central park and got lost. Sweated my makeup off. We couldn’t find the restaurant and ended up on the complete opposite side of the park. To cool off […]
